I am an Associate member of The British Jewellers Association 'the national trade association which promotes and protects the growth and prosperity of UK jewellery and silverware suppliers. With over 1000 member companies, BJA represents manufacturers, bullion suppliers, casting houses, diamond and gem dealers, designer jewellers, silversmiths, craftsmen and women, equipment suppliers, wholesalers, galleries, internet retailers and traders.'
In good company!
The Association for Contemporary Jewellery promotes contemporary jewellery, supporting makers, developing the audience in the UK and abroad.
I have taken part in member exhibitions which include the travelling Diamond Jubilee Exhibition with a collection of work entitled 'The Queen of Diamonds.'
The British Society of Enamellers has a broad membership, encompassing levels of expertise from enamel students to professional level enamellers. Our aim is to promote the highest standards of contemporary design and workmanship in all aspects of this unique and exciting medium. UK based, the BSOE has international connections and offers exhibition opportunities, bursaries, an online gallery, workshops and events for its members.
I am a committee member and very much looking forward to new developments, opportunities and exhibitions with enamel work.
The Guild of Enamellers aims to:
To encourage and promote the craft of enamelling and the work of members.
To seek to exert a progressive influence on standards of workmanship and design in enamelling.
To foster good public relations and develop links with other crafts.
Everyone joins as a Member; no qualifications are required other than an interest in enamelling.
After attending a series of masterclasses with Ruth Ball in 2013 I became a member and have introduced enamelling into my portfolio - a natural progression and development as I evolve deeper in various making process.
